VPN. TCP/IP Socket.

Is this the correct newsgroup?

I've connected to a VPN on a remote host.

Have attempted to connect to their TCP/IP Socket using the Socket and/or
TcpClient classes in Visual Studio.

Anyone know why I can't connect to a WAN, but I can connect to the LAN ?
