VSTO 2005 Data Binding to Word Tables

Can anyone point me to information on a way to set up data binding on word
tables at design time vs. runtime. I saw this great article but would like
avoid all the back-end pre-processing if possible, just now sure there is a
legitimate method right now (vs. 2007).
