Im having some trouble deploying a visio adding created with vsto of visual
studio 2008 to all users of a computer using the Code Access Security Policy
Tool (Caspol.exe).

Can any one give me some insight of how this is done properly?

Thank you.

Based on my review of the VSTO white paper
<http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc563937.aspx>, this is not
possible with VSTO and Office / Visio 2007 :

Mixed Mode Installs
An application-level add-in is only installed for the user executing the
MSI. Installation for all users is not supported by Visual Studio Tools for
the Office system 3.0. This is incorporated into the design of the 2007
Microsoft Office system.

I thank you very much for your reply. The initial posting should have
mentioned that the application add-on i created was for Visio professional
2003 using VSTO SE 2005.

In the Installer I placed all the required registry entries in the machine
level, and granted trust to the assemblies also at a machine level, and that
have been working.

Good info, and I'm glad you were able to get it working with that process.
