If i try to modify a form or the switchboard (via "Switchboard manager") in
Access 2000 on XP Pro SP-2, i get "Please wait while Windows DOA" then
WIndows wants dao.msi. DAO.MSI doesn't seem to be on my hard drive or the
Office 2000 Premium CDs, so the "configuration" fails and i still can't edit.
A few months ago, Access 2K worked perfectly on this machine in Windows XP
Pro.
MS support no longer supports Access 2000 (well maybe for $245 a pop).
If I can fix this by upgrading to a newer version of Access on my single
production PC, will my 2 database clients have to also upgrade their PCs with
10 or 15 Access upgrades? I'm sure that would thrill them.
Any Ideas please?
