Wall Dimensions

I am using Visio 2003. When working on the office floor plan, the wall
dimensions create a "busy" look to the floor plan. This has only happened
with this one floor plan. I created a seperate floor plan for a different
floor in the building and NONE of the wall dimensions show unless you click
on the wall. I tiled the documents and checked and double and tripple
checked every setting and they are both showing the exact same settings. How
do i remove these
dimensions from the floor plan and ensure that they will not print out.
any help would be appreciated...!!!!

There may be something wrong with that one plan because the walls should only
show the length when they are selected. The display of those values is
controlled by automation code in the Walls stencil. Try copying all of your
floor plan objects to a new drawing file and see if the behavior changes.
Here's a set of steps that would give you the best chance of success:
Open the existing plan drawing
Press Ctrl-A to select everything
Press Ctrl-C to copy everything
Exit Visio (if it prompts you, make sure you don't delete what's on the
clipboard)
Restart Visio (this hopefully will cleanly restart the automation engine)
Start a new Floor Plan drawing from the file menu
Press Ctrl-V to copy everything to the new page

Do the lengths still appear without selecting a wall?
