Wall Joins not working

I am using Visio Professional 2003 SP2 (11.5509.6568).
Recently the wall join function stopped working. When I connect two
wall endpoints, the enpoints glue together. But they don't clean up.
Instead they continue to look seperate, perhaps with some overlap
depending on the locations of the end points.

I have not been able to identify any changes I may have made to Visio
settings. For example: Glue to Shape geometry is still selected in the
Snap & Glue dialog box. Nor can I identify any changes to the PC. I
thought uninstalling and re-installing Visio might help. But I get the
same behavior. On a lark I installed Visio 2000 and the problem only
exists in 2003. unfortunately I need several of the newer features in
2003, so going back isn't really an option.

Any help would be greatly appreciated regarding this perplexing issue.

Thanks.

Make sure that Tools > Options > Security > Enable automation events is
checked. Check it and restart Visio if not. This is one common possibility
for the problem.

Thanks Mark. That resolved it. I don't remember changing any security
settings but obviously I must have.
