Want to find place to post question about PP

Need step by step instructions on inserting a ripped CD track in to PP
presentation so it will start at beginning slide and play all the way
through.(from beginning to end) Track already ripped to file on my computer.
Using PP 2003.

Is it a wav file?

If so simplest way is to insert it as a transition sound on slide 1. In the
slide transition pane scroll down in sounds to other sound and navigate to
the file you want. Sound will play across slides and embed.

If (more likely) its an mp3 you will need to convert it to wav or use insert
movies and sounds > sounds from file

Choose play automatically and then in custom animation goto effect options
(drop down arrow on sound transition item) and tick stop playing after x
slides (where x is the number of slides you have) Your mp3 file will not be
embedded with the presentation.
