Warning of e-mail duplication when archiving?

Is there a way of detecting whether there is an exact duplication of an
e-mail in an archive folder? I wish to consolidate the filing of my e-mails:
if I simply copy all mails from folder A into folder B, then how do I avoid
getting duplicates if the same e-mail is already in both folders? (I'm
looking for something similar to the Windows notice received when moving a
file into a folder.)

there are 3rd party duplicate checkers available but outlook doesn't offer
