Warning when using hyperlink

Hi all
When I create a hyperlink in Access or Word to a Web page on the Internet,
it's fine.
But when I create a hyperlink to a file on my own machine, i.e. from Access
to open a Word doc I get a Security warning saying that this file may be
unsafe would I like to proceed?
WinXP SP2
Office 2003 SP1
It's the sound of it more than anything that is off putting.
Can someone please tell me how to get rid of that warning?
Thank you
Jen

Hi Jen,

You can turn off the warning through a registry change
