Not sure if this is what you want. However this may help you until someone
comes along with an easier method. INSERT|Picture|Picture from
file|FORMAT|Picture|Image control|Drop down -Washout|OK it.

Are you talking about a specific picture you want to make look like a
watercolor painting, a faded out tie-dye type image, or a watermark?
