Watermark - Changing position and percentage of washout

How do I change the position of a watermark in Word XP? Mine is at the top of
the page and that is unacceptable. Also, how do you change the percentage of
washout?

View | Header and Footer. Select the watermark and drag it where it needs to
be (you may need to change the wrapping from In Line With Text to Behind
Text). "Washout" is a specific automatic percentage, but you can adjust the
brightness and contrast using Format Picture (or other appropriate
controls).
