Way to "lock down" an mpp file so that only certain individuals canopen w/write?

Is there a way (e.g., password protection) to "lock down" an mpp file
so that only the author/pm has the ability to open with write
privileges? The plans are in a public folder and it wouldn't be
practical to try to control that with windows security.
