Web Access: Not able to report task progress as "Hours of Work"

Y

Yokoyama

This must be a very basic thing, but I´ve run out o ideas.

We´ve just installed a Project Server 2002 and tried to report a task
progress as "Hours of work" via Web Access, but the field is always
disabled in the timesheet view.
Here goes what we´ve done:
1) Project Professional (Customize Published Fields): The tracking
method was set to "Hours of work done per day...";
2) Web Access: It´s also set to "Hours of work done per day..." in the
"Tracking Settings";
3) We´ve even locked the default settings in "lock down defaults"

Any help welcome!
Thanks,
Yokoyama

You have done well, my friend, but you have neglected one important step.
You must now "push" the new timesheet settings out to each user's View My
Tasks page in Project Web Access by doing the following:

1. Open the first project that has already been published
2. Click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments
3. Click OK
4. Save and close the project
5. Repeat steps #1-4 for each project that has already been published

Hope this helps.
