hi,

anyone has any idea why do i get the below error message
when i am trying to collaborate using Microsoft Office
Project Server with the server URL:

"You are not authorized to view this page
You do not have permission to view this directory or page
using the credentials that you supplied because your Web
browser is sending a WWW-Authenticate header field that
the Web server is not configured to accept.
----------------------------------------------------------

Please try the following:

Contact the Web site administrator if you believe you
should be able to view this directory or page.
Click the Refresh button to try again with different
credentials.
HTTP Error 401.2 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to
server configuration.

It would help if you provided a bit of info on your environment - where you
are trying to logon from, are you behind a proxy, are other people accessing
it, from where and are they having problems.

Anywho, one thing to check is the authentication in IIS. I have seen this
when you try to connect from a desktop and you try and connect with
integrated authentication (i.e. your desktop and server are in a domain) but
int.auth is not enabled on the server. Specifically, you can look at the
auth settings on the lgnps.asp and lgnbsc.asp. I am not sure this will
resolve your problem - just sharing my experiences with the same issue.
Before checking the permissions, it would be wise to do an IIS config
backup.
