Web-based e-mail hangs in Outlook 2003

I am having a problem with my e-mail receive for my web-
based e-mail. It will work for a while, but then it will
say "receiving 245 bytes of 400 KB" and never go any
further. It can sit all day and it will never finish. If
I close out of Outlook 2003, reboot, and go back in, I
still get the same thing. I can go online and check my
mail or I can even go to my laptop with Office XP and it
checks fine on the same DSL line (so I know it isn't the
DSL provider). If I remove all of my e-mail settings from
Office 2003 and wait a day or so, then put them back in
again, it works for a day or so and then hangs up again.
I have reason to believe that this may be a problem with
Outlook 2003 because I can receive fine on my laptop with
Office XP and I can go online and check my mail through
A+ Hosting who handles my business account. Microsoft
says it is a problem with the web-based e-mail provider
(which I cannot believe since I can get my mail no
problem through any other computer that has Office XP)
and the web-based e-mail provider says it is Outlook 2003
and Microsoft causing the problem. Please advise if you
have any other suggestions regarding this. Like I had
mentioned before, this is a web-based e-mail issue only.
I can get my SBC, Road Runner, and TDS e-mail without a
problem ever. It only gives me fits when I try to receive
my web-based company e-mail and this just started with
Office 2003 a month ago - I can send e-mail with my web-
based address through Outlook 2003 just fine. Prior to
then, I had Office XP and never had trouble. Any thoughts
would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
