Web Counters

When I place a web counter on the index page using Front Page 2003 the web
counter counts every time the page is selected by the same visitor to the
website. How can I make the counter "unique to visitors" as opposed to being
a "page Counter" as Front Page 2003 does? The "unique visitor" counter would
allow one degit on the counter for the given visitor regardless of how many
times the given visitor goes back to the page where the web counter is
located. THANKS!

You can't with the FP hit counter. Everytime the page is hit or refreshed,
it will increase by one.

Don't like the Microsoft Frontpage webcounter options at all.
If you want to keep a really close eye on what's going on with your visitors
then you should install a separate counter.
I have used two free counters in the past. The first by CQcounter (
www.cqcounter.com) and the second, which I find trememdous by Statcounter
(www.statcounter.com) . Installation of either is very easy and you will be
knocked out at the results for a site that doesn't get a whole boatload of
hits a day. If you do then you can upgrade to the paid counter by them.
