Web form and Access 2003

I have created a web form that collects user data from a web page and updates
an Access 2003 table. After abit of trial and error I got the DB to update.
However the issue I am having now is I can't get Access 2003 to open the the
MDB file. I can go thru the process in Access of openning the site on the
webserver, enter my log-on information,I can see the MDB file (icon) but I
get the error message:
"Microsoft Office Access is unable to open the data access page. The file
does not exist, or you do not have read access to the file."

I have publishing rights to the webserver where the MDB is saved.
I created the MDB file.
If I access the server using Frontpage I can open the MDB file without any
problems. And the DB is populated with the sample data entereed from the
website.

Any suggestions on why I can't access the DB using Access directly?
