web forms that submit data

I am trying to have a form submit data to an email as well as sumbit to a
database...it seems i can only do one or the other. Any Ideas how to make the
one form do both

I've been watching now for about an hour, and nothing happens. Am I using
the wrong version of Outlook Express?
