Web Hosts

Does anyone have advice about finding a web host once
I've designed my website? Most that I've come across
seem to want to design a website for you and are not
willing to just host a site you've developed on your
own. Thank you.

There's a list of places to look for hosts at the end of

Have you tried your ISP? Usually they offer (small) portion of web space (e.g.
30megs or so) for personal web pages.

For pure hosting then, try www.netfirms.com
you have to have ad-banners on your 'free' account but I suppose they have the
'pay-for' ones as well, supporting everything from cgi/perl to frontpage, php,
asp, asp.net and probably sharepoint as well.

www.mysitespace.com offers a free package that supports FrontPage.
They only require that you place a small link on your page somewhere.
Very good service. They also have several budget hosting plans if you
need more space, bandwidth or if you need database support.
