I am using a FrontPage web. Is there a program that will alert me when my
webhost has stopped hosting? (My last one died and I did not know for a
week)

Yes. A browser. Just check the site in Internet Explorer
once in a while and you will know.

That's too simple, Steve. I want bells and whistles to go off,
automatically, when my webhost dies again.

You mean these million dollar sysadmins have to push buttons every day to
see if their website is still up?
