Web Page Preview

In publisher 2007, when I click Web Page Preview, I get a restricted error
message.
This is due to the local group policy (run only allowed applications).
The publisher exe and Internet explorer exe are both in the allow run list,
what else do I need?
I did not have this problem with publisher 2003.

This issue has come up a couple times before. Make sure you have installed
Office SP2 and then in Publisher go to Help > Office Diagnostics and do a
repair of the installation and let us know if that fixes the problem. If it
doesn't then tell us what operating system you are using, what browser and
which version of that browser, and whether you have your computer set to
automatically install MSFT updates and patches. Also when did this start
happening...as many details as possible.

Office SP2 is installed.
Office Diagnostics returned no errors.
Computers are running Windows XP SP3, IE8, and updates are enable via my
internal Microsoft Software Update Server.
All critical updates are installed for windows and office.
As far as I can tell, this has never worked using office 2007, but it worked
last school year with office 2003.

Sorry. I have no good answer. Until you figure it out you will have to
publish to your local computer and open the index.htm home page file or the
other .htm files in order to preview.

I found a resolution to my problem. I noticed that the students could not
Ctrl+Click hyperlinks in Word either, so I searched under that problem and
solved both.

Even though it applies to office 2003 and IE 6 and 7, it was causing the
same problem with office 2007 and IE 8.

Thanks a lot for posting your solution. It is appreciated and will benefit
others in the future.
