I am trying to help a friend who volunteered to maintain a FP website. He
doesn't know what he did, but when you launch the site in the Internet
Browser, the page won't load - the task bar is blinking very fast with
'waiting for http://....' and it never loads. WIth this there is a rapid
click, click. click sound. I looked at the page in Front Page and couldn't
spot anything. Any ideas? Please help!

The click click sound is the "Begin Navigation" sound from windows.
since the taskbar blinks also, that tells me that there is an endless navigation loop in the page.
But as Stefan said, without seeing the page and or its code, it's impossible to determine the cause.

Sort of sounds like a frames page that may be linked to itself though.

Thanks for the response. I found out the I somehow lost the link to the home
page for the web site. So I set (reset) the page as the Home page and now
the site loads fine.

Thanks.
