WEB Site

Shorty

Someone did a web site for me and I do not have a copy of it in Publisher.
How can I make changes to the site.

You can't. Since Publisher is not an html editor, you need the original .pub
file so you can edit that then re-publish.

If you do not have Publisher installed, then you are out of luck. If you do
not have a copy of the original Publisher file, then you will have to
rebuild the Pub file. It can be done, but it is tedious and depends on which
version of Publisher the site was built with and which version of Publisher
you have.

Read the last part of this article for a description of how to rebuild the
Pub file:

Common Sense Computing 101 aka "Why in the world would you lose your
publisher file?":
http://msmvps.com/blogs/dbartosik/archive/2006/01/19/81461.aspx
This method will not work with all versions of Publisher.

If you have more questions about Publisher webs, then post in the web group
and we will try to help you there: microsoft.public.publisher.webdesign
Please always include the version of Publisher you are using, the URL of
your site and as much detail as possible.
