how easy/hard is it to take a access db and make it work on a web server the
same way it works in access?

It's very different if you want to use the built-in "Pages" in place of the
forms. The pages have different features, don't have some of the forms'
features, and use VBScript for programming not VBA.

It's a lot of work to change from regular ACCESS to web-based. You may want
to think about using .ASP pages with an ACCESS backend.
