Website hacking?

Susan

How easy is it to hack a website? Not discussing politics,
I read about Barnes & Noble website being hacked and maybe
Amazon.com? I read that most hacking pertains to TCP port
80. What bothers me is that I would expect main large
companies to have the most secure websites.

Though no information on the source of the cover change
has been found, the latest tactic whether from a computer
hacker or an employee of Barnes & Noble

Someone at Amazon.com (hacker?) has oddly removed the
primary author, John O'Neill, and listed the book as if
Corsi were the sole author.

Any comments please?

Since all *non-secure* web sites are served by default from port 80 it's obvious that port 80 on
TCP/IP would be the most hacked.
The answer to preventing "hacking" is to make sure the latest security upgrades are applied to a
server, and also make sure you're user name and password are not easily "hackable."
