Website information won't update

Although the remote file list shows that the index.html is updated, the
information is not correct on the web. What am I doing wrong?

Dunno, not really enough info given.
Could be:
You have an index page named index.html and one named index.htm.
Your server caches updates and the update hasnt propagated yet.

Whats the URL?

Or you haven't cleared your temp internet files and cookies in IE, so you're
looking at a cached version of the page.

I am a little ignorant of all this. When I started doing the updates, there
were two files as you suggest. I have always worked with index.html,
overwriting and publishing to the web. Should I delete Index.htm?? I've been
doing this for almost two years, and this is the first time I've had the
inability to publish my index file.

Post the URL...much easier to figure out the prob. if we can see it.

Thanks for trying to help me. I checked in Windows Explorer and saw that the
single page link I had created was 240 MB huge. No wonder it wouldn't post.
Word sometimes misrepresents itself, or maybe it's my computer??? I rebuilt
the linked page to 67 KB and it the index file went right up, link and all.

I believe there is a 1 meg file size limit...240 meg...whew!
