website permissions

I manage a website for a local business. I would like for someone who works
in that office to be able to make changes and additions to certain parts of
their website. However, I do not want that person to be able to make changes
to the other pages or alter the design. How can I limit that persons access
to just a few pages? I'm using FP 2003.

Place the pages in a subweb, with all related images, etc. then give that person login authoring
access to the subweb only. You will need to change the link from the root web and back to be
absolute.

1. First check with your web host to make sure you can setup unique permissions on subwebs. You
would do this by opening the subweb in FP on the live/remote server, under Tools.

2. You would change the URL to be http://www.domainname.com/subwebname/pagename.htm, etc.
