Can anyone tell me the name of some very good web pider type tools that will
allow me to download entire websites onto my local hard drive?

sure, FrontPage has a feature for this. it's useful when you don't have the
un/pw for the server.

in FrontPage file/ new/ web (or site) select import web wizard.

1. Curious as to why you would want to do this.
2. No tool will do it if the site is password protected, or on portions that are password
protected.
