Website using Publisher

Les

I have created a basic website using Publisher 2000 and
am wondering if I can utilise Frontpage 2003 to publish
this site and if so, how? I'd like to get it up &
running whilst I learn more about creating a site with
Frontpage.

Cheers,
Les

Publisher is NOT a program to use for building web sites, no matter how
basic!! Since you have FrontPage use IT! Publisher web sites are a mess of
bad code and mostly images that take forever to load and look bad too. "Best
Practices" says that just because you can use Publisher doesn't mean you
should.
Trust me!

Shouldn't be a problem, but if you can use publisher your transition of skills to
frontpage should be a breeze.

Must disagree here.
Publisher uses text boxes and absolute positioning to create very good
documents for the print media.
Using these techniques on web pages will generally - though not always -
result in pages that will not work properly in all browsers, or on all
screen resolutions.
IMHO, there are very few similarities between building documents in
Publisher and any other editor for the web.
