WEIRD ERROR AT REFRESHING DATA DISPLAYED IN AN ACCESS FORM

In a form wich displayes the data from a query, I use a command button to
refresh the displayed data after modifies. The command button execute a
macro :
requery (with no arguments) + show all records
It was aorking, but from last week, when I try to use that refresh button
more than once, I get the next 2 CONSECUTIVE ERROR MESSAGES:
-UNKNOW FUNCTION NAME
- OBJECT INVALID OR NO LONGER SET

Can you,please, help me?

try this (as one last-gasp attempt to solve):

1) uninstall Office and reboot

2) go to this site:

http://www.microsoft.com/office/ork/2000/appndx/toolbox.htm

and download:

Office Resource Kit core tool set - updated April 20, 2000
ORKTools.exe File size: 8.9 MB

The Office 2000 Resource Kit contains the following set of core tools:

Custom Installation Wizard (version 1.00.00.3728)
Excel File Recovery Macro and Date Tools
Microsoft Internet Explorer Administration Kit 5.x (version 5.0.2809.2500)
Language Version utility (version 9.00.0028)
Terminal Server Tools
Profile Wizard
Removal Wizard
System Policy Editor and Templates
Unbind Binders Utility

3) run the *Removal Wizard* and reboot

4) download and run a Registry Cleaner

I don't know your skill level, so some suggestions
(but use at your own risk!)

or try to delete all Office registry settings yourself.

Then reboot.

5) Reinstall Office and reboot.

6) go to Office Update site and have it check your installation.

click on "Check for Updates"

7) reboot
