Weird Message

I have Outlook 2002 and am having two problems:

1. When I go to compose a message, I get this dialogue
box: A program is trying to access addresses you have
stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this? Of
course, I click no, but wondering if anyone knows what
could be causing this (I'm thinking a virus, but I have
up to date Norton installed, it runs every night, plus I
have ad aware to look for other bad things...

2. Outlook 2002 keeps hanging - after an action like
trying to send an email, or after I've opened 4-5 emails
in a row...

Any thoughts?
