Weird pie symbol showing up in all my word files?

Yesterday, I noticed a weird pie symbol showed up in a word doc I received from an email. Now I've noticed all my word docs have the pie symbol, at the end of every sentence. I did a virus scan nothing came up...... Even my new docs have the pie symbol. What did I do? Can it be fixed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.....
