weird printing quality

Hi. I’m having a weird printing problem with a Word document. I’m trying to
print thank you letters that have a signature that I copied/pasted from
another file, so it looks like each letter is personally signed. This works
great when done on a different computer in our office, but when I try to do
it on mine, there is a noticeable criss-cross pattern behind the signature,
which makes it obvious that it’s not an original signature. On the other
computer, you can’t tell the difference.

Here’s the weird part: my computer is the same type of computer as the one
the signature works great on, so I don’t know how it could be my computer’s
fault. I figured it was my inkjet printer’s fault, so when we recently got a
new laser printer, I hooked up the old laser printer (that works great for
the signature thank you letters on the other computer) thinking I could
finally print the signature, but nope. The problem is still occurring, even
though I’m now using the very printer that worked great on the other
identical computer.

The printer is not dirty and produces great documents from my computer,
except for this signature. Does anybody have any idea why this is happening?

Thank you,

Melissa
