Weird problem saving a file

Hey guys. This one is hard to explain. I have a file tha
automatically pulls different numbers from financial statement that i
in Excel format. It pulls the numbers and does about a hundre
calculations for me automatically. it saves me a ton of time.
download the financial statement every month and then use this file t
analyze it.

My problem is that I can't figure out how to do a "Save As" that keep
the numbers for that one month without autopopulating the numbers nex
month. As in, I can't save different months because they al
autopopulate with the newest month FS.

There has to be a way to turn off the import, but the cells actuall
say, "='C:\Documents an
Settings\Administrator\Desktop\[Current_Month_FS.xls]OR1'!$J$16"

So they are looking at the file so I understand why it's doing wha
it's doing. I just hope there is a way to save the file and make i
save the numbers that show up in the cell rather than the actual sourc
of the data. I've tried saving in all the different file formats an
saving as HTML worked a little but then it all but killed my prin
capability.

I have found a program that converts excel files into .PDF files and i
does a great job. But I wanted to try you guys for ideas before I spen

Can you just save the workbook as values instead of formulas?

Select the range of formulas and use
edit|copy
edit|paste special|values

I like this free one:
http://www.primopdf.com

It works well enough for what I do.

And the next version of excel will be able to create .pdf files using
file|SaveAs.
