What are ProjectAuthorName and ProjectManagerName inmsp_epmproject_userview

I'm familiar with StatusManager (accepts task updates) and
ProjectOwnerName (shown in PWA - I've treated as the Project Manager)

How are these different and when are they populated?

For my projects, ProjectManagerName is NULL while ProjectOwnerName
and StatusManager are NOT NULL.

Thanks,

The (Project Center) Project Owner field is the person who last published the
project (or who is set to be the Owner in Project Properties). In my current
context, that is the scheduler who reports to the Project Manager. The owner
field controls much of the security on the project (depending on your
security categories)

In MPP file properties, there is a free text Manager field. In Project
Center, you can display that as the Project Manager field.

In the same dialog box, there is an Author field. That is intended to be
the person who maintains the schedule (i.e. scheduler or project
administrator, although it could also be the PM in many contexts). I am not
sure if that corresponds to a field in Project Center - as the Author is
usually synonymous with Owner in my world.

Status Manager defaults to whomever created the schedule, which is fine
until you start working with Enterprise Templates, in which case, it defaults
to whomever created that template.

Minor correction: the owner is the person who first published the project -
or another person who has been identified within the Edit Project Properties.
That being said, it's rare that the owner is anyone other than the person
who last published the project.

And another minor correction, the status manager defaulting to the person
who saved the template was a bug that was corrected some time back before
SP2 I believe.
