What audio format works best in PowerPoint?

Dave

Hi,

I'm using PowerPoint 2000 with Windows ME and Windows Media Player 9.

I plan on making a slide show to play on another computer with Windows
operating system, PowerPoint, and media player, although I'm not sure which
versions they will be until show time.

My Windows Player 9 plays just about any audio format, but should I convert
my current music files to WAV or ? I just want to assure that the music
will play during the slide show.

Thanks a bunch for your help.

Dave

Dave,

mp3 files are much smaller.... but wav files are the only audio file you can
embed (keep with) in powerpoint files... so they win!

If compatibility on unknown systems is a concern I would convert them to the
Windows wma format. You may automate that process with PFCMedia, an add in
I recently released.
