Could anyone please tell me what all the F keys do - ie F2 - F12.

The Function keys do different things in various Office applications. In an
Office application, type keyboard in the Ask a question box, and press Enter.
One of the choices displayed will be Keyboard Shortcuts. Click it. You
will be able to get your answer, plus a whole lot more. And keep in mind
that what is provided is application specific, so it varies from Word to
Excel to PowerPoint, etc.

In addition to the other responses, some programs allow you to customize
those keys. I used to do CAD work using AutoCAD and Cadstar (printed circuit
board design software). Since AutoCAD already used some of the F keys, I
edited the keys for Cadstar so they were as similar as I could get. For
example, If I wanted to see everything on my layout I could use the same
combination of keys in either program. Made my life easier to remember one
thing instead of two. :)

I suck at programming. I got so lost it wasn't funny. I'm afraid I'm a
dropout.
