what do I use for a subtitle

I have never done this power point before and I have to do 5 slices with
powerpoint and I have to add a subtitle and I have no clue what I am doing
if Ido not turn this is I will have failed this part of my class

can someone help me out

On the title slide, which is the first slide. There are two placeholders. The
first one says click to add titie, while the second one says click to add
subtitile. You can add your subtitle there.
Not sure what you are asking, perhaps you can be more specific on how you
want us to go about helping you?

You can consider add your name or an explanatory/alternate text on the
subtitle in addition to the main title of your presentation. Its really up to
you on what to add. You can also choose not to add anything on the subtitle
placeholder. If nothing has been added, it will not be shown during the
slideshow.
