What does an error message HControl mean?

HControl Error Message at start up of pc

Dear Sir or Madam,

For several weeks everytime I start up my pc the message printed in the
subject box pops up and warns me that I could lose data that I'm currently
working on.

I have sent this error message to Microsoft numerous times.

I would like to know what HControl is and if it is located among the Windows
XP Home Edition files on my pc or if perhaps it is related to a computer
virus.

Any assistance you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.
