What does error message "Property value is too large" refer to?

When trying to save my Access table I get an error message saying "Property
value is too large." This has happened repeatedly. After I make a couple of
changes to the table (changed yes/no combo boxes to text combo boxes, or
moved on field to somewhere else in the table), I have been able to save.
However, next time I open the table to work on it the same thing happens. I
can't figure out what "property value" refers to. Most of my text fields are
limited to 50 characters, but I do have some large row source listings
entered directly into the field properties. However, deleting these hasn't
seemed to make a difference. Any ideas how to solve this?
