When I click 'Print' I am given the option to "Print to file." I can't find
a description for exactly what this does.

After reading Don's post, it occurred to me that I would not
know or did not remember what to do with a .prn file. The MS
site does not explain either but, based on dim memories, I
printed a Word document to a file called foop.prn. In a command
window, copy foop.prn lpt1, printed it.

I live and learn or perhaps have my memory refreshed!
