What does 'User-defined type not defined' mean?

I

investsure

After using Access 2003 for a very long time, suddenly (from out of nowhere)
the message 'User-defined type not defined' began appearing when I would make
an entry into only one of the Fields. I would click on the OK & the entry
would then be able to go in. What is this & how can I get it back to where I
can once again freely enter data? Thank you. Ellen

First thing to check is your References. Open any code window. Choose
Tools > References. If any are marked as MISSING, uncheck it, then close
the window.
