The categories you named, except "serif/sans serif", aren't really mutually
exclusive.

"Decorative" seems to be a somewhat confusing and confused term. Most often,
it's used for fonts that might appear on title pages or in advertisements
rather than for body text, so "Broadway" would qualify.
But OTOH, it seems to be some kind of code word for symbol fonts in some
font specs. So if some (mostly amateur) font creator specified his (text)
font as "decorative", Word may interpret it as a bunch of symbols, not
applying hyphenation rules, ignoring spelling errors...
