What happened to my sybmbols?

Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Insert ---> Symbol.

Where did it go? I was using macros to insert em dashes, and something bugged out. Now I don't even have the option to insert symbols, it just disappeared. How do I restore it?

Well, I have no idea what "something bugged out" means but you can try going
to Tools> Customize> Toolbars/Menus - Toolbars page. Click the name of the
Menu Bar then click the Reset button.

If that doesn't restore it you might reply back with some accurate details
about what happened including a copy of the macro so someone may have half a
chance of helping you sort things out.

Don't know the answer to the missing symbols, but just press
Shift+Option-Hyphen for an em dash and Option+Hyphen for an en dash.
