What happened to the "leave a copy of messages on the server" chec

Instructed a remote user to find the Deliver options listed on the Advanced
tab of the "Internet E-mail Setting" dialog box but I was sent a screen shot
of the Advanced tabl which shows a blank lower third of that tab: not
Delivery section at all, much less the needed "leave a copy of messages on
the server" checkbox. From the look of it, user must be using Vista but is
sure that the Outlook version is 2007.

Where is the Delivery options sections. Any suggestions will be much
appreciated.

Is the user using a POP3 or IMAP account?

Thanks for looking at this one, Milly. The mail server is at a college. I
just assumed it would be POP3, but I'll find out what the outgoing, incoming
server paths are and see if that will identify them better. Ã'll be back.

If it is a College, chances are they are using an Exchange server. You can
ask your client to inquire of the Mail admin at the school. The server
paths do not tell you the mail transport type, except if it is IMAP (AFAIK).
