The Windows XP Product Key affixed to your computer
can only be used to reinstall Windows XP on that same
computer and no other.

Carey will be the first to admit that this question comes up way more than
it should.. the wording in this instance is 'keycode question - Office XP
gets confused with Windows XP - version 5a'..

But there is a product key with Office and the OP said he had "Microsoft
edition on my windows xp". I don't know how they can figure it out. I've
tried but in this case I couldn't figure out what the question was.

At some things but with some posts, I do an educated guess and my response
is "coniferous".
