What if I don't have a product key for office xp?

I just bought my pc and it already has office xp on it but I can't open it
because it's asking for a product key. How can I open it without one or get
one for free?

You don't.

All Office software requires a key and you pay for that key. I assume you
bought a used computer? You can always try asking the seller for the key. If
Office came with that computer he/she can't install it on another one.

If the seller won't give you the key, then you have to pay for Office 2003.
Office XP is no longer sold (unless you trust buying software on eBay, which
I wouldn't recommend).
