What is a "Heading" for Word

T

tjmarques

Hi,

What does Word consider a "heading" when using functions like
GoToNext(wdGoToHeading) ?
Built-in Styles "Heading 1" through "Heading 9"?
Is there any way to change this behavior, so that is goes to the next
"MyStyle 1" through "MyStyle 9", for example?

Thanks

(I posted this same message in the word97vba group some days ago, but
got no answer)

It's looking for the "outline level", which you can set for any style (top
right corner of the paragraph format dialog). It's set by default, and
unchangeable, for the built-in headings.
