What is a pst file and how do I save my contacts and calender information as
a pst file to a "default" location so that I can switch from 2003 to 2007 and
have 2007 automatically pickup the information

<bg> - Unless you are connecting to Microsoft Exchange Server for your email
you already have a pst file - it's the file contains that all your Outlook
data - email, calendar, contacts, tasks, journal and notes. You don't need
to do anything - on the installation of 2007, after you have un-installed
2003, (there have been reported problems with Outlook profiles if you allow
2007 to do an in-situ upgrade of 2003, which is why you should uninstall
2003 first), it will pick up your pst file automatically. AFAIK....

You're welcome!
You might consider using a newsreader if you come back - it's much better
than the web interface!
