Repeatedly pressing Shift+F3 will change selected text from lower case to
upper case to sentence/title case.

This seems to *almost* work in PowerPOint 2003: it cycles through all caps,
all lc, and then Sentence (but not Title) case. How do you get Title Case
included in the series of cases invoked by Shift-F3?

In Word, there's this random issue where whether shift-f3 offers Sentence
Case or Title Case depends on whether or not there is a period (or other
punctuation?) at the end of the selection. Try that.

That's it - thanks!

What knucklehead took it upon him or herself to assume that I would want one
or the other, depending on terminal punctuation, without givng me some way to
opt out? I could see, perhaps, selecting a Tools/Option that would provide
that type of processing, but to make that decision for me is arrogant, I
think...

You can always choose the specific one you want if you go through Format |
Change Case.
